We obviously need modern baby shower decorations to spice up a party, right? Decorations in any party or event liven up the occasion. They add color and funk to a regular area thereby transforming it to a different place. The baby showers I often visited had traditional and clichéd decorations such as pink or blue balloons. Honestly, those decors kind of bore me. So why don’t you give your decors a twist? In this article, you will get ideas from sample themes such as:
A. Magic Theme
B. Future Rock Star Theme
C. Princess Theme
D. Space/Astronaut/Alien Theme
I know that it is hard to come up with and create decorations so let the theme ideas below help and guide you to create one.
Magic Theme is a unisex theme for me. For decors, you can make top hats out of heavy black-colored paper. Add a stuffed bunny inside your hat and make this as your table center. Cute, isn’t it? You can use flowers instead of bunnies inside the hat. You can even form pyramids out of cards (make sure you glue the cards together though) or place cards and coins everywhere. If you want, you can form a baby mobile out of colorful handkerchiefs and cards. It’s up to you how to make it though.
Another great unisex theme is the future rock star theme. This is perfect for parents who are musicians or musically inclined. You can use skulls, bones, and stars. A skull with a bow in her head is cute for couples who are expecting a baby girl. You can decorate the party area with toy guitars, drums and other musical instruments.
A princess theme is obviously for the couples whose baby girl is on the way. You can buy tiaras and make them your center piece. Use pastel colors as much as possible. You can even lay a red carpet on the door to give your guests a royal welcome. You can also make your own tiaras for the guests to wear. Aside from pink, pastels, tiaras, and wands, you can also decorate your place with toy unicorns and princesses. I also suggest ordering a castle-shaped cake to match your princess theme.
For the space theme, you can make flying saucers out of paper plates. You need to paste the plates together so they can look like spaceships. Poke a hole through the plates and then thread a string through the hole. Pain the plates silver so they’ll look real. You can also stick glow-in-the-dark stars in the ceiling and the walls of the place. If your budget restricts you from buying stars, just cut out stars form cardboard and paint them with glowing or neon paint.
Modern baby shower decorations allow you to imagine and make those imaginations come to life.
If you are still not certain as to the theme or decoration you want, there are other sites that can provide you with more ideas. One of which is the link provided below. Good luck and I hope you get to finally pick out the decorations (or themes) you fancy.
